 Description:	Gray-headed Pygmy Woodpecker is a small woodpecker with black and white mixed spots. Male: back is mostly black, head is slightly gray, behind eyes and ear coverts have indistinct red spots, back and rump are barred with white horizontal stripes; outer tail is white with black-brown horizontal bands. Female: similar to males but nape does not have red spots.
 Habits:	Gray-headed Pygmy Woodpecker is a resident in Taiwan. It appears in deciduous forests and coniferous forests at low altitudes. It often climbs onto tree branches in a spiral. It makes the monotonic sharp calls of “bi, bi, bi” frequently.
