Heatwole's dwarf frog (Physalaemus fischeri) is a species of amphibians of the family Leptodactylidae. This species is found below 800 m altitude: in Venezuela in the states of Apure, Bolívar, Cojedes, Guárico and probably Portuguesa, as well as an isolated specimen in the southern state of Amazonas; In Colombia in the east of the Llanos in the departments of Arauca, Meta and Casanare.
