The Amazon dolphin or boto lives in the Amazon and Orinoco river systems in South America. Populations living in Bolivia and Peru are located more than 1700 miles upriver from the sea. Amazon dolphins tend to live alone or in pairs, feeding on fish near the riverbed. |
