The Corsican painted frog (Discoglossus montalentii) is a species of amphibians of the Alytidae family. Feeding small terrestrial and aquatic invertebrates, the Corsican painted frog is mainly active during the night when it frequents the borders of the streams. The female lays eggs in the water and the tadpoles grow there until the metamorphosis. Juveniles do not reproduce until 3 years old. Order Anura, Family Alytidae.
