D:\Microcosmos\Drosera] [2/8] - 268.jpg (1/1) (Video Capture)
There are carnivorous plants that eats insects. The drosera feeds on
insects to survive. When the insects fly in, attracted by the bright colors
and the sweet pollen, the drosera excretes a sticky juice and captures them.
The more the insect struggles to set itself free, the more it is confined.
The digestive fluid-like substances excreted by the drosera can easily
dissolve insects even with the hardest shells. |
