I watched this Siberian Tiger at the Reid Park Zoo in Tucson yesterday have
a wild time with his toys. He was swimming and trying to "kill" some
floating toys. (too close to get a picture of that) Then, he climbed this
pole in his enclosure, got down, stared at me and then came right up next to
the bars to inspect me more closely.
Later, I watched him spray his pole with what I can only assume was "essence
of tiger" and then rub up against it. I was changing lenses while all that
was going on and didn't catch it. His keeper said he loves to roll in cheap
perfume, and they buy it for him when it's on sale.
