Dyscophus insularis
A species of western dry deciduous forests, the "False" Tomato Frog is a close relative of the famous Red Tomato Frog (Dyscophus antongilii), which has a more confined distribution in North-Eastern Madagascar. Antsouhy tomato frog, Dyscophus insularis, is a species of frog in the family Microhylidae. It is endemic to Madagascar. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, dry savanna, moist savanna, intermittent rivers, and intermittent freshwater marshes. It is threatened by habitat loss.
