Red necked Stint
Size: 15cm
Habitat: Distributed through out Australia, found on beaches, on the edge of river and lakes inland. This commonly seen wader feeds on worms and crustaceans.
Notes: Small pale brown bird, white chest and belly, neck turn reddish when breeding, short, black bill, black legs. Breeds Spring-Summer.
