Harp seal
Harp seal, North American seal that ranges widely over the Arctic seas, with the largest herds found off the W coast of Greenland and the E Arctic Ocean. To whelp, they migrate to Labrador and the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Adults are silver with black harp-shaped marks on their backs; pups are pure white. Length: to 1m.
