CHIMPANZEES AT SCHOOL. The artist here presents two most amiable and accomplished young Chimpanzees that enlivened the famous zoological garden at Stuttgart for some years, and performed a number of delightful pranks, which made them favorites with everybody. The picture represents them, at school, the master examining the work of one of the pupils who is, unlike some school-boys, anxious to resume the task. The smaller sketch shows them at dinner' and proves how cleverly they have mastered the accomplishments of eating and drinking like Girls and Boys. They were amiable, playful, knew-scores of entertaining tricks, would sit in chairs, sleep in beds and walk around like h'-man beings.
