Arctic Tern

DESPITE ITS NAME, the Arctic tern does not live only in the far north. Instead, it migrates between the Arctic and the Antarctic - a record-breaking round-trip of more than 20,000 miles (32,000 km). During the course of a year, it sees more daylight than any other animal.
