This bright fellow rarely shows up at my place. This time I managed to
capture him on film but I'm not sure what he is. Choices, following
Kale and Maehr's "Florida's birds", seem to be 1- Spot breasted Oriole
or 2- evening grosbeak. Any information from the group will be appreciated.
Thanks

Looks like the spot-breasted oriole wins. This bird is most definitely
oriole family and not grosbeak family. My North American birds shows
the spot-breasted to be almost exactly like this bird... only my
picture shows more white on the wings. Could be an individual
variation, however.
Beautiful bird!
