Large tree nymph butterfly (Idea leuconoe)
The strikingly patterned large tree nymph butterfly is widespread in southern Asia and Japan. Although a species of the forests, it lives in mangrove swamps in the southern part of its range. In dappled sunlight, this slow-flying butterfly is almost invisible. |
