Aoudad, or Barbary sheep, wild sheep found in N African rocky hills. It has a uniform reddish-brown coat and long, soft mane on throat and chest. Both sexes have large, backward-pointing horns. Length: up to 1.9m. Family Bovidae; species Ammotragus lervia.
