Habitat: Distributed Australia wide, this perhaps is Australia's most abundant Raptor. Congregating in large flocks this bird feeds on carrion , rodents and insects. Often seen on the outskirts of small country towns and edges of roads.
Notes: Dark brown bird with distinctive forked tail. Breeds Winter-Spring.
