This feathers was scavenging for tiny insects around a trunk when i noticed a small branch protruding from the side. Somehow my intuition tells me that this feather will perch there for that brief second and it did! My heart nearly sank when the lens struggles for focus from infinity under such poor lighting. Thankfully the central sensor just locked after one AF cycle (as always with lose proximity focusing with 2x added) and I just managed on lucky shot. Focus of back and recompose in a second for it to turn to face my lens. Lucky me! |
