Scanned from a weekly magazine, "News Maker" No. 274, published in
Korea.
Bullfrog was introduced into Korea in the late 1970s as a new protein
source.
The trial was failed and bullfrog has spread all over the country.
It eats about 142 endemic species including frogs, small fishes, and
even the poisonous snakes. As a result, the Korean fresh water ecology
has been severely destroyed. |
