Goldfinch L-14
Carduelis carduelis
Can be seen in parks, gardens, fields, open country, woodland edges and
forests. Nests in trees. Feeds on seeds of the spines and also of the trees
and small insects at summer session. Very common and resident species in
Turkey and METU campus.
