 Habitat: A coastal bird of prey inhabiting the northern half of Australia. frequents estuaries, harbors and mangroves feeding on fish, small animals and crustaceans.   
 
 Notes: Head white, body chestnut coloured with dark wing tips. Breeds Winter-Spring.
