Diana monkey (Cercopithecus diana)
The diana monkey is an animal of the high forest canopy, living in groups of up to 50 males, females and young. Each troop occupies a territory covering half a square mile at treetop level. During territorial disputes, the monkeys display by hanging from a branch with their hands between their feet, and presenting their contrastly coloured backsides to their challengers. |
