The male Australian king parrot is unmistakable with a bright crimson head, neck and underparts, green back and wings and a bark blue rump and tail. The female is somewhat duller and has a green head, neck and upper breast. The Australian king parrot feeds on fruits, berries, nuts and seeds. |
