Found in the south west of Western Australia, this diurnal lizard ranges in colour from brown, grey, greenish brown to black, sometimes marked with cream coloured dashes or spots.
They like to live in amongst rocks or in burrows.
Snout to vent length 24cm in adults.
They give birth to one or two live young.
This fellow lives next door to my house in Perth, in a drain pipe in the side of the road.

King's Skink (Egernia kingii) is a skink species native to coastal south-western Australia common on Rottnest Island and Penguin Island and some coastal areas with open forest and open heath.
