The European badger or Eurasian badger (Meles meles) is a species of badger in the family Mustelidae and is native to almost all of Europe and some parts of West Asia.
The wolverine (Gulo gulo), also referred to as the glutton, carcajou, skunk bear, or quickhatch, is the largest land-dwelling species of the family Mustelidae. The wolverine is found in northern Canada, Alaska, Nordic countries of Europe, and throughout western Russia and Siberia.
The striped polecat (Ictonyx striatus), also called the African polecat, zoril, zorille, zorilla, Cape polecat, and African skunk, is a member of the family Mustelidae (weasels), though in actuality, it somewhat resembles a skunk. The name "zorilla" comes from the word "zorro", which in Spanish means "fox". It lives predominantly in dry and arid climates, such as the savannahs and open country of Central, Southern, and sub-Saharan Africa. |
