estrildid finch
found in Fiji. It has an estimated global extent of occurrence of 20,000 to 50,000 km².
Fiji Parrotfinch
is sometimes considered to be a subspecies of
Red-headed Parrotfinch
(
Erythrura cyaneovirens
).
It is found in subtropical/ tropical lowland moist forest and dry grassland habitats. The status of the species is evaluated as Least Concern.
